wyntarvoxI'm applying to rent a property and to do it I need a statement from my employer to say that I'm not a bum without any money. I sent my boss an email over the weekend to ask him to write something up for me.
This morning, he asks me to go for a coffee to have a "chat". He starts out with the basic "How are you finding it? Anything you think we need to change? Blah blah." and we both agree that things are going really well. He then says that he's going to look over the books and see about increasing my pay.
I knew my salary was going to eventually be reviewed, but I didn't expect it for another couple of months or so. I'm obviously not getting too excited until he comes back with actual numbers, but still, any pay rise is a good pay rise, right?
