Work, Boys, Wicked
Dec. 18th, 2009 08:08 pmI'm so looking forward to my time off over Christmas. My last day is the 23rd then I'm off until January 11th. As much as I rant, I do like my job, but by God I'm ready for some time off. If nothing else, it'll be nice to just catch up on sleep. Between work and socialising on the weekends, I'm exhausted.
Have had a fair bit of boy drama the last few weeks. Have decided to make myself move past it, and I think it's working!
I bought the Broadway Wicked soundtrack the other day and I'm in love with it. Popular, No One Mourns the Wicked and For Good in particular. And of course Defying Gravity, but that goes without saying. I've decided that I'm going to see the production in Sydney next month even if I have to go on my own. It won't be the same as if I got to see Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth on Broadway*, but beggars can't be choosers.
* Any Americans, particularly New Yorkers, who didn't take the opportunity to see this, I don't think we can be friends anymore.
